Hi Mike, Reality XP - I believe you must enter them by hand by pressing the "FP" button on the bottom right... Once you create a flight plan you can save it by pressing the "MENU" button in a memory slot... Kinda like the real thing - only way to do it in real life is to have a spare data card to record your FP - then insert it in the device when you get in the plane... This issue has been discussed at length over the years - I suspect the reason is that Reality XP uses the real Garmin Trainer software as the engine that drives their product - so they have limited ability to make changes... I know it has been requested a number of times...Regards,Scott
