August 21, 201015 yr I don't know if it's a bug or a feature.. if I start in Cold&dark cockpit I'm not able to turn on the VC lights (the VC is completely dark, just the gauges and displays are bright). The L key works normally, all the external lights turn on, just the VC stays dark. BUT... if I load Airbus (same problem for all.. Vol 1 & 2 for FSX) with engines running if I press L key all the lights AND the VC turn on. It looks like it doesn't work from Cold&Dark or, more likely, I forget or don't know about a switch or two. So, bottom line, from C&D the VC night textures always stay dark even though I press L (or turn all the lights on from the overhead & flood light) on the other hand if I load a/c normally if I press L the VC becomes bright. Any ideas? Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery
August 21, 201015 yr tomaz:are you first loading a default FS aircraft, say the cessna, before the airbus? FS remembers 'states' of the last aircrcraft used. if you don't 'reset' the game with the loading of a default aicraft you can get some strange functions.feelThere support forum -'http://forum.iemit.com-- D. Any ideas?from a cold and dark situation you MUST turn the BATswitches ON then external power or APU ON also to provide some power and so some light...
