Thanks! That must be quite a sight to see those heavies overhead everyday!

Hey Kevin,Yeah it's pretty cool living so close,The Freight Dogs usually start landing around 4am,It's neat to see an UPS MD-11 or a FedEx MD/DC-10 coming in so slow almost hovering as I'm walking my Dog.Or hear the whine of The big Trent Rolls Royce engines on final as they jockey the Turbines up/down for power to hold glidescope. Also get to see The Prez"Obama" fly over in Marine 1 really low when he's in town which is pretty cool also!!Great shots bud!!Cheers!

Yep! Usually when I am in transit to school I will hear an Fedex MD-11 turning to intercept the localizer if the winds are from the northeast. Many of the aircraft photographed herein had a very slow ground speed on final because there was almost a direct headwind of almost 20 knots. It's amazing to see a 772, 744, or MD11 just float onto the runway at that slow speed..

Hello(!),Just to say many thanks for the pics etc. I was in OHare last November and really enjoyed flying in and out of there. Although the international terminal isn't that great the domestic terminals are really nice and I managed to take a few flights to Boston and Minneapolis and Detroit. My relatives all thought I was nuts flying around the place but I had a pretty hood time! Many thanks,Pierre
