September 5, 201015 yr LTAC is at 3135ft so showing this would be correct. Altimeter shows height above sea level not above ground level.John Ellison

September 5, 201015 yr Commercial Member LTAC is at 3125ft AMSL. So no problem there. If you want to depart at sea level, try Hong Kong, VHHH. Well almost sea level :-)Try to learn more about the aviation basics, like altitude, Flight Level, height, QNH and QFE and their differences. It's hard to fly an MD-11 when you get confused by the basics. Numerous books and online stuff are available on the subject.Regards,Markus Markus Burkhard
