September 8, 201015 yr Hi - is anyone using this tool, FSX Follow? Eventhough the name says FSX, the website says it works with FS9, they are a liitle short on instructions for FS9, so I was wondering if/how anyone got it working? In essnce this program is supposed to give you access on your iphone/ipad/itouch to data from an on going flight. You should be able to pull up a map to view location and altitude of your flight. Anyway, if anyone has got it working for FS9 please let me know the install steps you used. Thanks!!!http://www.positiongames.com/fsxfollow/
February 22, 201511 yr I was wondering the same thing. I do see how it connects using SimConnect for FSX. I do have FSX installed as well but have too much invested in FS9 to finalize the migration
February 22, 201511 yr I tried it for FS9 when it was released a few years ago, but it never did work. Emailed the developer and after one response, which didn't fix the problem, they stopped responding. Use with caution. John G.
February 22, 201511 yr The FSX version works great, but the FS9 version has issues on any airport with more than one runway in my experience, AVOID. Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..."
February 23, 201511 yr Hi, A much better option for FS9 is the remote flight App that works on iPad and iPhone. You run the remote flight server process on your desktop and connect via your wifi. Excellent performance and high quality map and interface. Rgds, John http://remoteflight.net/remote-flight-map http://remoteflight.net/remote-flight-map-hd FS9 Driver
February 23, 201511 yr The FSX version works great, but the FS9 version has issues on any airport with more than one runway in my experience, AVOID. So - I did get a response from the team and they told me to read the manual as FS2004 was in there... I replied back that it needed to be more instructions than just you need FSUIPC. I was able to get it working and confirmed what A32XX is saying.... doesn't work on airports with more than one runway. I will be requesting my money back through iTunes. This is one purchase to avoid
