FSX Over the Network

Featured Replies

Guys, Im trying to set ASE between two computers, I have done this successfully before. It requires you have a few folder shared; including the Program Files - MS - FSX folder. I am successfull at sharing it but I cannot access it on the client for some reason. It shows up on the client but will not let me go into it. I have set the correct permissions and have made all possible "legal" actions to let me access it. The other two folders required by ASE have transefered over just fine and I am able to modify/read them so I dont understand what is wrong with the FSX folder. I went so far as to uninstall FSX and see if that made a differnece. Thanks for the helpYours Truly Ron Hamilton

Hi,Should be installed into something such as C:\FSXI don't think you are going to be able to share any sub-folder that is in the Program Files folder.

I dont think that has anything to do with it, I have been using this path for the past 2 years over a network and have never had a problem with ASA or Plan-G.
