I had to re-install FS9 and all my addon's a week ago when I lost my computer to a virus. I've got everything back to where it needs to be except in the past I was able to run FS9 as a normal window and now I have to make it full screen in order for it to work. I've downloaded all drivers and everything-- I just can't figure it out. I enjoyed when it was a normal window and I could just minimize the window and do email and then go back to it.Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

You have not told us what actually happens when you go into windowed mode. Does it display at all or ?????????When you did your re-install, can we assume you did a "complete" un-install first and manually deleted what the un-install routine left behind?More details please.

Not to state the obvious but... Alt+Enter?

Alt+Enter is the only way to get the graphics to show. If not in fullscreen mode the graphics freeze and nothing happens.

I seem to remember having a similar problem long ago due to graphics drivers. Going back to an older driver fixed it. The drivers that have come out since then seem to be fine for me but maybe you've run into a weird problem with the latest version.
