September 14, 201015 yr Hey People,Its been a while since ive posted in the forums (almost a year) and im glad to say im back and ready to help! But first i need a little help.Recently Ive been working on some scenery for Sydney (YSSY) for FSX and have been modelling a brand new frame rate friendly domestic terminal (the default one sucks!)What I want to do is remove the default terminal somehow and replace it using Flight 1's Instant Scenery.Any idea's on how to remove it? I know that the terminal isn't generic, so im stuck. Thanks,Jackwww.deluxe-sceneries.yolasite.com
September 15, 201015 yr Hello Jack,Welcome back to the fold.A simple exclusion should remove that terminal and any other object. Have you encountered any problems with the process?Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
September 15, 201015 yr Just make sure your exclude is big enough. That airport is modeled with several objects to make the domestic terminal, and in some cases an object consists of several buildings.scott s..
September 15, 201015 yr Author Hey,Thanks for the replys. If I use an exclude though, can I place another object within that exclude? Thats what I've been worried about Thanks,Jack
September 15, 201015 yr Sure, Jack, that is no problem. Just make sure that the exclusion is read first by FS - for example, give it a name that starts with a zero "0" and FS will read it first, exclude the elements, then proceed to load and display the rest of the scenery.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
