September 16, 201015 yr So, what options are you getting? Install, Uninstall, Other? You might also go directly to the CD's directory and look for the Setup option and click on that.Best regards,Jim
September 16, 201015 yr When I install disk 1 in the CD drive..If your screen is not showing a "Repair" option, that suggests to me that it cannot determine that you have FSX already installed.I would assume that it looks at your registry to make that decision and if that is correct, then perhaps your registry entry is incorrect or corrupt.Try using this free Registry Repair tool from the good folks at Flight1, to check and correct (if necessary) the path to your FSX.exe file:http://www.flight1so...stry_Repair.exeAt the prompt, Save it to a temp folder and then run it from there.Hope that might help.
September 17, 201015 yr Author Thanks guys, Jim, the only option is install. FSX is on [New Volume (F:)/ FS Games/ Microsoft Flight Simulator]Opa,I ran the Registry Repair tool and tried again, still no repair or un-install option. Do you think the name "New Volume" in the path to the FSX file may be a problem?

Do you think the name "New Volume" in the path to the FSX file may be a problem?Normally the path would not include the "name" of the volume - it would only be something like:F:\FS Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exei.e. the complete path to (and including) the FSX.exe file - wherever you installed FSX..
