REPLACING JETWAYS

Featured Replies

FSX - I installed some airport scenery that does not have moving jetways. Is there a way to replace the static jetways with moving jetways with some kind of airport editing software such as ScuffyDuck Airport Design Editor or something else?Thankswb2002ASUS P6X58 Premium/Thermaltake W0106 700W PSUIntel i7-930 OC TO 4.0Win 7 Ultimate 64/Mushkin Redline (3 x 2GB) 6-8-6-242x150GB SATA WD Raptor- No Raid/2x320GB SATA WD SE16- No Raid2x SATA DRW-24B1ST/EVGA GTX285 2G3x SILENX 120X25MM FANS + 2x 10in XCLIO Wind Tunnel Case FansDanger Den Water Cooling/Enermax temp/fan controllerFSX ACC@ 1600/1200 |UTX/GEX/FEX/REX/MTX/ASE/UT2/PMDG747+EXT8/CS-767/SkySIM D-C9/ESCX20X/RC-4/FSG/DBS-WAF/FollowMe/

ADE will allow you to add animated jetways in FSX.

Thanks for your suggestion. The airports are the Just Flight World Airports 3 which consists of 5 airports and 2 more addons. None of the airports have moving jetways however the scenery is nice. I want to replace the static jetways with movable ones. I have no idea which file to import into ADE for the modifications. Could you point me in right direction?Thankswb2002ASUS P6X58 Premium/Thermaltake W0106 700W PSUIntel i7-930 OC TO 4.0Win 7 Ultimate 64/Mushkin Redline (3 x 2GB) 6-8-6-242x150GB SATA WD Raptor- No Raid/2x320GB SATA WD SE16- No Raid2x SATA DRW-24B1ST/EVGA GTX285 2G3x SILENX 120X25MM FANS + 2x 10in XCLIO Wind Tunnel Case FansDanger Den Water Cooling/Enermax temp/fan controllerFSX ACC@ 1600/1200 |UTX/GEX/FEX/REX/MTX/ASE/UT2/PMDG747+EXT8/CS-767/SkySIM D-C9/ESCX20X/RC-4/FSG/DBS-WAF/FollowMe/

You need to find the bgl(s) file that contains the airport data and load them into ADE. This may be complicated though because the object placement data for the airports may be in another file.

Again, I appreciate your help and concern. Knowing what I have learned in life, I do not believe doing what I had hoped would be rather complicated and for the reasons you mentioned is probably why this was not done by the author of these sceneries. I am however disappointed because the sceneries are nice and I am a stickler for eye candy. Thanks againwb2002ASUS P6X58 Premium/Thermaltake W0106 700W PSUIntel i7-930 OC TO 4.0Win 7 Ultimate 64/Mushkin Redline (3 x 2GB) 6-8-6-242x150GB SATA WD Raptor- No Raid/2x320GB SATA WD SE16- No Raid2x SATA DRW-24B1ST/EVGA GTX285 2G3x SILENX 120X25MM FANS + 2x 10in XCLIO Wind Tunnel Case FansDanger Den Water Cooling/Enermax temp/fan controllerFSX ACC@ 1600/1200 |UTX/GEX/FEX/REX/MTX/ASE/UT2/PMDG747+EXT8/CS-767/SkySIM D-C9/ESCX20X/RC-4/FSG/DBS-WAF/FollowMe/
