September 21, 201015 yr hi,I've always had trouble using the theme creation menu in REX. I understand that when I change one item I have to click on save and then on install. Unfortunately it takes ages to install the textures into FSX even though I have changed only one thing. It seems that all the textures are reloaded. Is it possible to speed up the process by installing only the latest modified textures.As it is, it a bit annoying to wait such a long time to discover the effect of the modification. :( Thanks My gallery: http://s1075.photobucket.com/albums/w430/yankeegolf/
September 21, 201015 yr You can selectively disable the textures REX theme creation updates by unchecking its texture type under the "options" tab. Just remember to re-enable them if you want to update them later. I too do this all the time for the same reason. BTW water textures always take forever. IMO their whole GUI implementation is rather lame; welcome to the club!
