Weird Problem!

Recommended Posts

I am having this issue, whenever I try to start a flight from KCLE, KPIT, KCMH, or any other airport in that area my flightsim (FS2004) won't load and crashes back to desktop! Now Chicago works fine, Burlington Vermont and Boston area airports are good also. It just seem to be when I'm flying over Ohio, Michigan and Penn, WV, Indiana... I know it's weird.. here are my spec and error.FS2004Vista X642.6 Quad core8 GB of Ram750 GB Hard DriveERROR:ProductMicrosoft Flight SimulatorProblemStopped workingDate10/1/2010 4:04 PMStatusReport SentProblem signatureProblem Event Name: APPCRASHApplication Name: fs9.exeApplication Version: 9.1.0.40901Application Timestamp: 4135a208Fault Module Name: StackHash_505cFault Module Version: 0.0.0.0Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000Exception Code: c0000005Exception Offset: 7534a57dOS Version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.3Locale ID: 1033Additional Information 1: 505cAdditional Information 2: c8cbcdc0caab6d1624b284063465663bAdditional Information 3: be53Additional Information 4: 4bf164e31362878a5e42d2800121884aThanks for your help with this, I should add that all central airports and west coast US airports work fine, including Europe and Asia.I have not installed any new scenery or programs in the effected area recently either.Jay

Even though you have not recently installed any addons does not rule them out. Its not unknown for a scenery to cause problems miles away from its 'normal' area. Try disabling all addon scenery and see if it solves the problem - dont think that 'cos a scenery is the other side of the world it cant affect where you're flying. Hope this helps.Dave

Google returns numerous hits when using Stack Hash 505 as the search criteria. In a very quick look I could not determine if any of them would apply to your situation but I did not have time to investigate more throughly.
