SceneryUSA.com?

Featured Replies

I've been following the MegaScenery development for sometime, but before there was megascenery, there was SceneryUSA (http://www.sceneryusa.com). This was supposed to be an entire USA scenery with roads and rivers based on usgs land use, i believe, NOT satellite photos like megascenery. Does anyone know if this addon will ever become a reality, or has megascenery replaced the effort? Thanks,sg

Their site states the following:"UPDATE: Some of you may have seen press releases on new scenery from MegaScenery. We are the company using our scenery technology to produce that product. However, unlike our Boston scenery which is derived from digital vector based data, the MegaScenery product uses satellite images. We are producing Los Angeles / San Diego for the MegaScenery project and will work on the Boston area once this has been completed. "http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/Geofdog2.jpg

No, in a word. The website hasn't been updated since January. Megascenery 2 is supposed to be out in october. I think maybe scenery usa may have been abandoned for the financially greener pastures of megascenery.sg
