October 4, 201015 yr Every time I do a flight where I leave myself a little fat on fuel I get the message over MLW 458.0!!! Does this version of the MD-11 (pax variant) not have a Max Landing Weight of 491,500 lbs? Currently I have the MD-11 set to a ZFW of 429,995 lbs so if I load on enough fuel plus reserve I tend to be landing in the 460,000 to 462,000 lb range and get this message every time. Is there a place that I can reset the MLW to 491,500 lbs.FS9 on windows xpMatt [email protected]
October 5, 201015 yr 491,500lbs is the MLW for the freighter. PMDG has model the combi for passengers which gives a MLW of 458,000lbs. Nathan

This whole deal of MLW is confusing. TOPCAT shows a MLW of 471500 pounds for both the MD-11 and MD-11F. I can find no place in PMDG MD-11 manuals where the specifications of various models are listed. Michael Cubine
October 5, 201015 yr All the MD-11 MLW's are on this site - http://md-eleven.net/Specs-Technical-DetailsSeems the 11 and ER is 430.000 F and CF are 481,500 and the C is 457,900 lbs MLW.- Obviously dependant on equipment and options.John Ellison
October 6, 201015 yr The combi has the 6 pallet option which is what PMDG modeled including various passenger configs. You can cross check this with boeing http://www.boeing.com/commercial/airports/m11.htm. Nathan
