777 Panel View Problems

Featured Replies

So Whats wrong with this these pictures? This is the new MelJet v.2.0 models, and with it is the virtual cabin that is blocking my views from the cockpit...I have used many different panels and I get the same thing...I've also tried zooming the virtual cocpit back as far as I can, but this had know affect. It was as if the cabin never moved at all.I've tried contacting Mel via e-mail since his forum is down, but he does not answer.Does any one have any answer to this thanks.LEFT-FRONThttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35279.jpgLEFThttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35280.jpgThank you TroySys:FS2004WinXP Pro

btw...how did u get the pss panel to work in 2k4?

Hello Gang!I posted a similar post yesterday! This is very annoying and I have no clue how to solve it either. All I know is that is is related to the virtual cockpit of the Meljet 777 series. Any ideas on how to solve this are extremely welcome.Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert

I can't quite make out the screenshots, the cockpit view is zoomed out. Could you post with larger screenshots, wide angle to show the cockpit? (-: Cloud9

Here's what I have the eyepoint set to in the Mel 777s aircraft.cfg.eyepoint=95.0, -2.65, 2.25This put the view in front of the cabin. The default was set too far back.John

Hey John! Thanks for your post! That solved my problem!Sincerely!Dennis D. Mullert

Thanks for all your response guys, I really appreciate that..Looks like the Eyepoint view worked just fine..thnaks alotIf you are wondering about this panel being PSS777, well it is, but its a modified version of PSS 777 v.1.0 panel. Here is whats funny. PSS v.1.0 777 panel is embedded within version 2 panel. Take a look at the bmps in your PSS 777 folder you'll see.PSS v.2.0 Panel cannot work with FS9, not unless they do something about it.Here is what I did. I deleted the 'FORWARD' bmp and renamed the 'MAIN' bmp to FORWARD.The 'MAIN' bmp is an exact replica of PSS v.1.0 panel.I then used my registered version of FS Panel Studio for FS9 and picked up all the available gauges needed for this aircraft...Its the most realistic panel yet. Here is what it looks likehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35490.jpgThanks againTroy
