I've done everything I was supposed to and the blue bar in Lesson 3: Climbs and Descents says fantastic you did well! then just turns off. I waited five minutes and the instructor says nothing. I was up to the point where I level off at 3,000 feet after turning and descending. Nothing. How am I supposed to get a pilot's license if my lesson instructor keeps crashing?? I've tried this lesson a handful of times, same result. Should I just move on? Am I screwed?

No this came with FSX. Rod is the one that tells all the jokes during interactive lessons, and you're supposed to get a pilot's certificate after each "school".If you're not familiar with this feature, click the lessons tab of the learning center.

Okay, I never noticed the tabs across the top of the learning center window. I see what you mean about the instructor leaving you flying at the face of a mountain after leveling off at 3000 feet. I don't know how these lessons typically end, but he must have bailed out and it's up to you to take it home. Rod may be funny, but I think I liked my instructor's technique better.
