MCP Gauge Help

Featured Replies

I am trying to make a new Mode Control Panel from an existing one. I'm using a payware aircraft with a custom panel I did sometime ago, but I never built the MCP because it seemed more involved than just selecting a gauge and dropping it in place. The gauge is also hard to get at, and I assume I need to open it up to get at the individual bmps to build a new one. I am also very new to XML. I hope someone can assist me with this task. I may be in over my head, but I guess even the best had to start somewhere.Your patience is requiredRegards

What problems are you running into?If you want to get the bitmaps from an .xml gauge you can simply get them from the gauge's cab file. For .gau gauges you could use fs panel studio to extract the bitmaps. The images from an existing gauge will be copyrighted though. To program the gauge you would need to write down what it does and what it interacts with. Then you can think out the logic before you start writing the code.
