Problem with roads in water

Featured Replies

I'm scratching my head over this one, and need some advice!I recently had to reinstall FS9 after a Windows crash.  I recopied all my textures, etc and ran Ultimate Terrain to get the roads back the way I wanted them.  But now I have roads (and I think extra coastlines) running through my lakes and rivers.  I can't figure out how to get rid of them.  It almost looks like maybe the FS9 defaults and the UT stuff are both there? It's probably a simple fix, but help is appreciated!Ron

Ron: I'm familiar with this problem, but unfortunately I'm not at my flight sim computer and won't be for several hours. Go over to the Ultimate Terrain support forum and search for "roads" or "roads in water" (without the quotation marks) and I think you'll turn up a solution. I fixed it a couple of years ago and can't remember exactly how right now -- it has something to do with the proper order of UT in your scenery.cfg layering, UT should be placed just above all of the default photo scenery (so that it has a lower number) and below any custom scenery in FS9s scenery manager, or turning one of UTs options off -- like railroads, or something.HTH.

Also check to see if another scenery add-on is interfering like in Portland Or. or somewhere close by.
