PMDG B747 FSX shiny addon airplane textures

Featured Replies

Anyone with input on this matter? I have the PMDG B747X preogram and I have been downloading textures from AVSIM. Problem is that the textures end up "shiny/metallic"... is there an update I need to get or are my airplane settings out of wack? Anyone? Help please... Thanks.

I'm out flying... leave me a message.

Hello, Please sign your full name to posts in this forum, per forum rules, thanks. You downloaded these? And there were multiple that looked the same? The pic looks like the Alpha channel is the problem as well as it looks like your using an FS9 paint in FSX to me. Be sure you're downloading the correct paints or you'll have to make a lot of changes to convert them for FSX. Either that or whoever made them didn't have FSX and saved them wrong.
