September 15, 200322 yr Author Hey I will grant you that fact about the lack of manuals. As of right now these have been added to the FMC and will be in the upcoming patch:- sid star transitions- approaches- missed approaches- holds in procedures- speeds in procedures- flyover in procedures- RTE DATA pageand CRZ CLM and DESCENTS. DREAMfLEET'S 737 I have said NOTHING about here. It's a classic not a NG. This has nothing whatsoever to do with it. I will not get into their sim VS PMDG sim. DreamFleet are great aircraft makers and deserve respect and they themselfs have issed patches as with PIC and all other major developers. The point is that you made negative comments which I felt were somewhat unfair. You have that right and I have a right to respond. If anything I hope this leads to better production in the future, lessons learned are many... [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. September 15, 200322 yr Hey Lou,Good to see your post! Been a long time...I have to go over to the DreamFleet Forum and have looksie. Hey Ron,I have flown tons of hours in the DF737, I even Beta Tested the compatibility patch for FS2002. I loved the DF737 and I still fly it in FS2002. Great machine. I fly the PMDG product quite bit its fun!Take CareTony
September 15, 200322 yr Well, that is indeed good news. I have nothing against you personally Randy cause ultimately I know you mean well. However the kind of attitude you have is as if the NG has no problems...everything is perfect, and whenever someone points out one of its many imperfections, you are quick to pounce. But the fact is that there are many things wrong. At this stage, after the patches, none of the imperfections are show stoppers .....which is why I am now typing this from my kneeboard in the NG at night....BTW, do I even need to mention the night panel textures? As someone who has spent the $40 I have accepted the imperfections with the hope that at some point all will be fixed. But the imperfections are there and I wont pretend that they aren't. No hard feelings. BTW, although you probably wouldn't admit it, I know that you are looking forward as much as I am to the 767PIC version2 which will again raise the FS commercial addon bar to yet another level.
September 16, 200322 yr Author No problem here either personaly with you. I do get very defensive when people say rude or what I feel are misleading comments. I know there are issues and also hope for more varity for the panel lighting down the road. I have been around long enough to know when someone has issues other than the sim itself they lay blame at the sim's door, yes it bugs me because I have personaly spent many many hours testing and still am testing, it's a slap in in whole team's face when a person calls something sub standard when the goal is realism. It's hard for people to know what we are testing or fixing and I try to keep people informed as much as possible. If this project was over and PMDG were not patching and implementing I would join in talking about issues that needed to be addressed or left out. I guess I hope for people here to have a little more respect in what they say. There are way to get the point across without rudeness and disrepect. [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
