leaving Fs9

With the constant debate over Fs9 I have to state that it works fine with my HP 2.4 and Gforce card.So why am I going back to earlier version?Simple answer is the Dreamfleet 737. I could not get into the defaults heavy jets. Once I was in Dreamfleets cockpit nothing else is close to it..I did buy PDMG

So nice to hear that and, indeed, we need to get moving! :-eekOf course, we have to get our 727 out the door first, and then there's a surprise we've been working on. You should hear about that by the end of this month. ;-)Regards,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...RUM_LOUF_A2.jpg

Randy,PIC/Plymouth conversion? What's that?George Stoddard

Ahhh.......as expected. - Randy Smith to PMDG's rescue. As Public Relations Officer of PMDG, its a pity they're not paying you....or are they..............The PIC/Plymoth conversion is a joke started by someone on the PIC forums when someone asked if it was possible to use the PIC panel with a DC-10. If you do a search on the PIC forums you will see it there.

Ah,, OK, early in the morning here. Slow to catch on.:)George Stoddard

So why don't you just use Peter McLelands FS2004 merge???That merge puts DF's 737 together with Ariane.Works like a charm in fs2004....Johnny"I'LL BE BACK"[div align=center]http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/josve/zone.jpg ][/div

Hey Josve/ Johnny !!Would you care to elaborate ? What exactly does the merge accomplish ?Thanks

Where do we find this merge for FS2004?Thanks,Bruce.

Ahhh.......as expected. - Randy Smith to PMDG's rescue. As Public Relations Officer of PMDG, its a pity they're not paying you....or are they.............. What's it to you? I deal with the facts at hand. If someone makes statements like [h5]"Sub standard"[/h5] and yet do not have a clue about programing this NG's FMC I will speak up. I suggest that if you have a problem with what I say then speak up but please quit the personal attacks to try to prove your point. Oh I forgot, that was your point, silly logical me..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Thanks for the replies to my original post.OK the merge seems a potential option. As I understand it, its not ready yet, but is near completion.I just want to restate that I accept that I am unable/unwilling/to daft to get into the PMDG 737. I happily paid for it, and can see a great deal of value. Its just my opinion that the Dreamfleets panel is the best! You pays your money and takes your chances!Over the many years that I have been simming, (as early as Bruce Artwick FS with SubLogic) I have tweaked and altered aircraft sound scenery et al.Over the last few years I have just being enjoying 'flying' my 737 around the world. I take pictures of airports I fly into in the real world (as a passenger) and then compare with the Fs world. Fs9 has brought the similarities closer. I, as we all must do, create our upcoming real world flights on our Fs sim before we take to the real world skies. (just checking that airline crew know what they are doing!(lol)This weekend off to Krakow in Poland via Gatwick from Scotland.I will continue to use FS9 for 'fun' flying, but will wait for the merge and/or Dreamfleets update to get back to commercial stuff. Until then my computer hosts 2002 & Fs9. Now that is disk space! Its OK I have plenty! Thanks again for the replies,RonaldGlasgow
