Problems with HAAB Scenery

Featured Replies

I recently downloaded scenery for HAAB ( Addis Ababa ) installed it and it worked perfectly. The installation instructions stated that I would need some files from scenery libraries. I already had EZ Object Library and RW12 installed and as mentioned the scenery worked perfectly. I have installed more scenery after that and suddenly all I have left of HAAB is runways, taxiways and parking areas with a few lamp posts. All of the buildings, jetways etc have dissappeared. I tried reinstalling the scenery but the same thing happens. I have a feeling I have installed some other scenery which is conflicting with HAAB. Any help i can get would be really appreciated as the HAAB scenery is very good.

Try moving HAAB to the top of the Scenery Library. If everything returns to what you saw previously then you most likely have a wayward exclude file in one of your other addons. This addon might not be anywhere near HAAB.To find the exclude you would have to move HAAB back to where it was and start disabling scenery layers above it in the Scenery Library until you find the culprit through process of elimination. Or just leave it where it is.Tip: it's always helpful to others if you include the filename of your addon and where you got it.regards,Joe

Thanks for the tip and advice Joe. Problem sorted. I moved the HAAB scenery as you suggested and found that I had created HAAB twice in the FSNAV data base creator. I simply deleted one and HAAB was back in all its splendour.Your help was really appreciated.
