Cessna 172 3D Gauges

Featured Replies

Hello everyone! I know this is a question that has been asked numerous times, but I thought I would ask just one more time. I purchased the Cessna 172N for FSX from Carenado when it was released awhile back, and I had hoped to incorporate my Reality XP GNS 430 WAAS into the panel, but I have run into the same problem as everyone else regarding the 3D knobs in the VC. I know that the knobs are apart of the .MDL file and they are difficult to alter, but I remember coming across a screenshot of someone who was able to get rid of the knobs. Unfortunately I am unable to retrace my steps and figure out where I found that photo. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it!

I wonder if you saw a shot of the Flight1 172 with a GNS in the panel... The Flight1 modelhas a 2d design so you can totally replace the radio stack if you wish..

I think you are right, because now that I think of it those pics do look similar if not exactly the same. Thanks for the response!
