REAL EMERGENCY AT GATWICK NOW! - DELTA a/c with Hydraulic probs.

Featured Replies

Hi all,Just been watching my local news, and they stated that Gatwick has been put on standby and many airport services terminated e.g. Railway, due a Delta flight having Hydraulic problems. Due to make an approach within the 20-30 mins.Fingers crossed, they've got excellent weather here, which will prove handy.I'll keep you posted.

Just to let you know, a/c landed safely. Delta Airlines a/c, routing from Amsterdam to New York, made a safe emergency landing at gatwick around 12:30pm, no one injured.Engineers inspecting a/c.

Just to add, the a/c had already landed before the news report.Don't you just love those journalists who can't get their facts straight, "landing within the next 20-30 mins" .. yea right.I'm glad everything turned out ok.
