What Vcore are you running your Q96## at?

Featured Replies

Intel spec states the max Vcore for my Q9650 at 1.3625V. I realized that I've been running as high as about 1.39V while overclock testing (had left the Vcore setting to auto in BIOS :( ). So I was wondering what Vcore people are running their Q96### processors at? Have I likely damaged the processor?

Hey I realised that I screwed up the title of this! I'm interested in the Vcore of any quad core Q9### LGA775 you are running.

I've been running a Q9650 at 1.4v quite happily for 3 years. I also been running 2xQ9775 at the same voltage for nearly 2 years.

For your Q9650: What motherboard are you using? What's your FSB? How fast are you running it at?

Its running at 4Ghz. I'm using the extreme chip so I simply overclocked the multiplier and left the FSB as normal. I'm using the XFX 790i Ultra board.

I was considering selling my Q9650 for one of those QX9650's. What sort of temps are you getting at 4GHz?
