Another reason that FS 9 constantly amazes me!

You might have some little something that falls into this category. If so, please post. For me, it was the discovery that with aircraft shadows on, not only could I see my plane's shadow, but also the shadows of other online aircraft when flying on the vatsim network. Wow! That's really attention to detail!Sherm

Had a nice, and unfortunate little surprise yesterday. Was at 15000 climbing to 32000 out of Burke Lakefront in Cleveland enroute to KORD at dusk (the darker side of dusk) and decided to look around the heavens as the stars were really prominent. As I panned upward, I saw an AI AC at what I guessed was above 30000 as his contrails were illuminated from the sun (below the horizon for me), but not for his altitude, against an almost totally black sky. The AC fuselage was slightly lit and the nav lights and wing strobes made for an awesome picture. He eventually disappeared, but as I received clearance to land at KORD, a Continental 737 was told to follow me to land on 27L. Only problem that he was ahead of me! I maintained the glideslope on AP and decided to see what happened. We collided about 5 miles out. He climbed out and I went down! Never a dull moment. I wonder if it was the AI AC I previously saw. Love this sim.Chris
