October 23, 201015 yr Hello all, I love this aircraft and all but I'm having some problems with the special effects like tire smoke and contrails all showing up as black smoke. October 23, 201015 yr I had this happen to me too just out of the blue. Clear out your FSX.cfg and let it rebuild itself. If I recall, that did it for me. Rick Almeida

October 24, 201015 yr Author I was missing the smoke textures and contrail textures probably from uninstalling a addon i had that copied over those textures. I did a fsx repair and it reinstall my missing textures and so far so good but thank you. Ian Paxton The lights are dimming on FSX and only getting brighter for XPX.
