J41 flighplans in FMS

Featured Replies

Hi All,I use vroute to access flightplans and export them to fsx. However when I fly the J41 and try to load a flighplan in the FMS I only see the tutorial flightplan. Anyone got any ideas?thanks

Full names here, please, per forum rules. FSX and PMDG use different flight plans (.flt v. .rte), so if you're trying to use the same file it won't work. That might be the issue. I usually plan my flights manually, and then input them into simroute and then export it twice: once as an FSX file and once as a PMDG file. (There's a bit more than that, but that's the basic idea.) The MD-11 is the only PMDG FSX aircraft that can directly accept the FSX files. With the J41, others have noted that the routes are usually shorter so it isn't as big a burden to input them directly.

Full names pls :Dthem into your fsx/pmdg/flightplans folder and they should show up if your vroute is setup right. I use vroute premium all the time. good little program and cheap for what you get!
