SimConnect.dll

Featured Replies

Hi everyoneHave been simming for many years however have never encountered problems with my sim like this one. I get occassional crashes of FSX after perhaps 3/4 of an hour to an hour. As I generally do flights of this length it is usually occurring during my approach and driving me around the bend.I get a message that FSX has stopped working and the application closes. I have done a little searching and checked to see if similar issues were a problem but cannot find much.My UAC is turned off to the lowest setting and when checking the fault log the message is APPCRASH and the faulty module is SimConnect.dllDoes anyone out there have any suggestions that can help the problem?OS Win7 64bit i7 975 OC to 4.26 6GB RamBest WishesBluemarlin

If you haven't already - download this file and stick it into the root folder of FSX. It is a known cause of oddball crashes with W7-64.http://www.search-dll.com/dll-files/download/uiautomationcore.dll.html It needs to be this version:- 6.0.5840.16386It may or may not fix your particular crash, but it's a no-brainer to do, and it fixed my pc and hundreds(?) of others with the same issue.
