Some problems with AP

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I'm forced to my first post here in the forum. I've liked to read in it, but now I am the technical victim... :Thinking:My problem: I was very happy with my MD-11 since I bought myself a new computer in excpectation of the NGX. So I had to reinstall the plane. This is the point where my troubles started. The autopilot is flying off track (one to two nm right off "the line") from time to time. I read the poste with the fsx registry repair tool and downloaded it. nothing happend...The secound thing is that the autopilot is flying freaking some time. For example: on the nd I see a left curve to fly. when the plane is ofer the point where the curve starts the autopilot flys a right full circle...Then I have to take control, fly by hand near to the route and activate the AP later on when i'm on a straight interception.Do you have any ideas to solve my problem?Greetings from GermanyDaniel Gravanis

Tomorrow I try to reinstall it again... Hopefully it helps, because I'm at the end of my small debugging knowlege Nail%20Biting.gifSo I'm gonna be really happy if someone has an idea.

Run the registry repair tool free from Flight1. I you have Vista/W7, be sure to run as admin ((IMPORTANT)). http://www.flight1.c...sp?page=library Its the fourth one down. This should fix all of your problems

Just do a complete reinstallation of FSX, make sure you delete everything FSX and PMDG related. Delete leftovers manually, and then run CCleaner.

Dude....that takes forever........I'd try the registry tool first.....it literally takes less than 30 seconds to download and less than 2 seconds to run the program (as administrator)..and if all else fails then go with the complete FSX uninstall and reinstall. I literally had the exact same problem and I Dled the tool and, I'm not even joking less than 2 min later everything was back to normal. Something corrupts the FSX.cfg file....it can be from adding some add on planes (captain sim 767 and a few others). Just run the tool tell it to repair the FSX.CFG and thats it......trust me. It worked for me........if that doesnt work, then wipe everything clean and start over again. As long as you follow the instructions and locate the FSX.cfg (which it finds for you) you wont have any problems.
