how 2 start with engines off

Featured Replies

Hi everybody! Hope ur all fine!I've got one simple question: How can I start the sim (FS 9) with engines off? (standard FS aircraft)I already tried 2 find out myself, but didn't succeed. Thanks 4 ur help!!!

Start up your default flight. Once loaded shut everything off then save the flight and call this your default flight. This will keep all the engines and stuff off when you load your next flight.

Be advised that some third party add-on planes don't play well with a cold and dark scenario as the default scenario. I recommend keeping the FS default scenario. :)

Just press control and E and they will start one at a time. Play with it a while till it starts depending on the airplane. If its multi engine you may have to hold E then hit 1,2 in rapid succession to get your joystick throttle to sycronize both engines.Richard

Turning off the engines and saving the flight as my default flight solved my problem. And I also discoverd a whole bunch of new options that were possible to be changed with this method.THANKS EVERYBODY!
