IRS question.

Featured Replies

Hi all, I'm back with another probably daft question, but gotta ask.The correct procedure during shutdown is turning off the IRS switches thereby shutting down all nav functions on the Aircraft. Is it possible in the same FS session to turn them back on again for the next flight, or do I need to restart FS9 to do my next flight?I have a flightplan ready and waiting to go tomorrow, EHAM-TNCM-TNCB-EHAM, although I doubt I will have enough time to get back to Schipol as the first leg to St Maarten is 8 + hours. Can I shutdown at TNCM and then follow the normal procedure again to do the TNCM-TNCB leg without restarting FS9 again? Thanks for any info or help.

Regards.

Just re-align the IRS as normal, if your only on the ground for a few hours you can also do a fast align.Regards
