Had some time on my hands Sunday before the NFL play off games so decided to go sightseeing around Tahiti X by Aerosoft before they release v2. Have it since the early days, but never got around to fully exploring it due to PC and real life issues over the years. Fired up REX weather, which turned out to be seriously crappy, but I still got where I wanted to go and saw what I wanted to see on this leg. All shots taken direct from FSX, editing limited to resizing and adding a border. ENB enabled, first time using it, still not sure of it though. Enjoy.

Some nice work there, assuming all are ok to run with the ORBX stuff, obviously removing the relevant files from ORBX? One or 2 done, but always come back over to NZ. Maybe as I don't have all the ORBX OZ stuff yet. Without you and your team's work Tim, I wouldn't be able to get shots like these. So huge thanks to you all too. Everyone else, thanks for the suggestions. Guess the requirements are scenery in ORBX fashion, sadly after flying ORBX, default just doesn't cut it for me.

I'm slowly getting to the stage where I can't get out of NZ, best I've managed in 2 weeks is to get as far as Southland.. Anyone point me in the direction of elsewhere? This may sound a strange one guys, so apologies if it has been answered already. Search the manuals loaded when I installed the NGX, 800/900 and 600/700. Searched Cargo, Doors and Luggage found nothing related. Searched the forums for the same, found bits and pieces, but again nothing directly related. Are these doors able to open, and if so, how do I manage it? The Doors page in the FMC has Front, Mid (overwing) and Rear doors, that's all. Maybe it's the livery I'm using, so in case that's it, I'm using the Air New Zealand pmdg_737ngx_700wl_jkx_anz300.zip by John O'Duffy found here in the library. Can't imagine why the livery would affect it, so also tried the SAS 700 by PMDG, ditto, no function to open the Cargo/Luggage doors. I know in the greater scheme of things, opening these doors is an extremely small place, but now we have AES and other addon's that bring loaders and such, it would be nice to see them open. Thanks for any help or advice on this.

No it is not, the app that was being suggested is "Forum Runner - vBulletin" by End of Time Studious. I have Tapatalk and know what it looks like, surely you can imagine I know the difference when I was being bombarded with the blasted thing?

Good news, thanks Chase. Where, in anything I posted, did I say I didn't like the way Safari displays? Please show me as I don't see it above. Please read what I posted before commenting on what you think I said. Chase and Matt understood what I wrote, There was a pop up coming up every time I opened a page, looks now as it was nothing to do with Safari, I did say I am more than happy with Safari as it is, and have no intention paying for something I don't want when the Safari pages worked fine for me. Re Tapatalk, I have it for other forums I use that require it. I am quite happy with it for those, but Avsim doesn't need it so I won't be using it here. This pop up btw has nothing to do with Tapatalk, as far as I can tell, no mention was ever made in that app re Tapatalk.

Sceptic in me says it might not directly benefit Avsim, but may well benefit in regards to the forum software provider or possible new implementation of whatever new forums here. If its not Avsim, could it be the forum software provider? Is it something to be discussed with them? Are you still seeing it now or has it stopped since the mobile skin has been turned off? I haven't seen it with 3 days now, so something has been changed either at Avsim or the forum software end. I have made no changes here so it is/was nothing on my side.

Thanks for the reply Matt, thought I was going this alone. Little update from my side. Today is the first chance I have time to actually sit down to reply. Little frustrated that no official reply from Avsim has been made, but as it is only a couple of days, I won't harp on it too much. Although something official either would be nice. Ether someone has seen my initial reply and changed settings, or the request to buy the app runs out over time, but I ain't seeing it so far today. As most of my time here is split almost 50-50 between the PMDG ans Screenshots forums, those were the most notable to me. Both, for now (hopefully forever) are app purchase request free. I know that Avsim has run into problems here and there since the update recently, and am glad I can use my iPad again here, hopefully Ll these little issues are getting fixed one by one.

As I am quite often away from my FS PC I often view the forums from my iPad. However the last week is starting to get infuriating for me. I am constantly getting asked to get the forum app to view the forums. 1. I am quite happy viewing the forums in Safari. 2. I don't want to pay €1.99 or whatever it is to view the forum when I can view it free in Safari. Is this an Avsim thing, or the PHP (?) asking me to buy this app? I view other forums and other sites in Safari and am asked probably once a month. Viewing the Avsim forum it is every time I open a page or topic.

I'm glad we all now know about the blank FMC screen, but I have to wonder why we got the pre sp1 panel states still installed after sp2, and, 600-700 install?Surely if there were new panel states, shouldn't the sp1 installer have overwritten the pre sp1 files to be sure this never happened?As mentioned, Ryan has posted a work around fix for the moment, while we found another one opening the fmc in a 2d panel and close back to vc removing the blank screen.

Just found your post now.Now I know how to overcome this, and others have raised a ticket, I won't take any more time from teh dev team.If a fix is made, I will install it, if not, I can run just fine as is.On the fuel issue, turned out to be a bad nav waypoint so that's sorted too.Still, 5 hrs on a 737, ouchThanks for the advice and help on this.

Ok, thanks for trying.Do you know the correct names for the panel state files?

Ok.Starting FSX from the installed shortcut on my desktop, either direct or run as administrator.On suggestions from before SP1 I always load the Airport first.Then adjust time.Then load the Aircraft.Opening the select aircraft screen, I simply pick whichever NGX livery I want to use, in this case the ASA Lei livery.Click Fly now and wait for everything to load up, heavy AI user here so takes a minute or 2.Once everything is loaded and the green PMDG bar loads (20 seconds?)I open the FMC menu and select loan panel state, and pick the Short version.

PHNL by FSDT at gate 14.On start up the NGX is ready to go, but I load up the short turn from the menu.Anything else needed?

I've opened the PanelState folder and there is 8 options inside;NGX CLDDRK.fmcNGX CLDDRK.savNGX DEFAULT.fmcNGX DEFAULT.savNGX LONG.fmcNGX LONG.savNGX SHORT.fmcNGX SHORT.savI've saved nothing here so why the old ones are there, if they are, is one I don't understand.

I don't understand how they could be there after deleting everything and going for a fresh clean install?Does SP1 not remove old ones when it installs?If we need to delete then ourselves, surely the installer is not working correctly?

This is a fresh install of everything, nothing was kept from the old install, at least I think so.I deleted everything named PMDG before installing the new files.
