Fired up ASE today for my flight from KMEM to KONT and have never seen Overcast depicted so well, Im using the latest Beta and DWC(have had some depiction problems as of late) last night I DL the latest beta fsuipc(4633) and widefs (I run ASE over a network) I even added the UseASEweather=Yes to my fsuipc ini( even though Im not sure if I had to) Im using RC4 everything was spot on in the ATIS and the winds and baro were exact in what ASE was reporting and what fsx was showing. Anyways I hope this is not just a chance encounter because this is the sweetest my weather has ever looked.3.jpg2-1.jpg1-1.jpg4.jpg

Hey Roger here is the link http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules-15th-november-2010/ And in case you don't feel like reading the whole document here is the specific information29. FSUIPC4 now contains facilities to obtain weather from Active Sky (ASE build 638 or later) in response to weather requests from applications. This is automatically done if FSUIPC detects ASE running locally in DWC (Direct Weather Control) mode, but it can be made to do it even in normal weather modes by adding:UseASEweather=Yesto the [General] section of the FSUIPC4.INI file. Alternatively you can prevent FSUIPC4 using ASE at all by setting this parameter to 'No'.If you run ASE on a separate PC then you would need to have WideFS, and run WideClient.exe (version 6.833 or later) there as well for this facility to work. This is the case even if you otherwise have to use for WideFS on that PC.Now it does say it detects it automatically if using DWC but you can add it if your using other modes, but I'll tell you I don't know if its the new updated fsuipc and widefs modules or just adding that line but ASE has never worked so well with RC4
