November 16, 201015 yr HiI have recently upgraded to FSX from FS 2004 for which i have purchased virtually all PMDG aircraft. Do i have to purchase again or is there some way of upgrading to FSX standard.

November 17, 201015 yr Commercial Member Please sign your name to your posts in accordance with PMDG forum rules, thanks.The FSX versions are separate products - there are substantial differences between them and the FS9 ones. Unlike a lot of developers, we didn't just "port" an FS9 product to FSX - the FSX visual models and VCs are completely native to FSX and more detailed than the FS9 ones, the systems are coded with SimConnect instead of FSUIPC, and there's a fully FSX native soundset featuring the 3D soundcones and so on.
