Landing lights too bright

Featured Replies

I thought I saw a fix for the landing lights being too bright yesterday. Now I can't find it. Does anyone know how to reduce the intensity of the landing lights in FS9? Sorry if this is one of those topics that has been answered 100 timesbefore. I searched the forum and could not find anything. I tried, honest. Thanks for any help.

It's not there now...My guess is he wan't to get it right. I have the old one and it was fine though. Little rough, but good.If you want to change it yourself, you need to modify the Halo.bmp and Spotlight.bmp in the texture folder. If you know how to use a photo editing tool that is.

I doubt he used your texture on purpose just so he could break FSW copyright; the file he has made is a great add-on for the flightsim community and work like his should be encouraged! Hi, The part of the Halo are identical runways lights from fsw fs2k2. And if you bright up the texture you can see the cutted one from fs2k2 files. These are not acceptable without noticed me or any author at all for all msfs creator in the Msfs community. BTW These files take 1 min to creates.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/43891.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/43890.jpgBrither image to see the cutted texture from fsw fs2k2 fileshttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/43892.jpgThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFs

the spotlight.bmp does seem to work and reduced the intensity of landing lights, now I can see the runway :)I don't care about the runway lights though, the white runway lights doesn't seem so real as ones with bit of yellowish tune.
