Helo's land on buildings FS9?

Featured Replies

I've tried to land the Robinson on some flat roof bldgs at PDX and it seems they don't like helocopters..And It was a "soft" touchdown...I have the realism set for crashes figuring that otherwise the helo would just fall through the roof. (nothing solid)Can you only use roofs marked "H" ??

There's one with an "H" on it in Tokyo that you fall right through too.

thats strange I have no problem landing the cub on buildings??I guess I had better try out the helos..

I've landed the 777 on buildings in Chicago...Set up a headwind of maybe 135kts ;)-Cory

I've noticed this too. Some buildings allow landing and others do not. So far there are no markings or locations that seem clear as to which buildings will work or not. The same goes for bridges.:)

Strange, I have been able to land on all the buildings that I have tried, but haven't done it extensively. I have noticed strange happenings when using a landable surface from FSSC in scenery design. An existing FS2002 scenery rooftop pad throws me off of it every time, yet as an experiment I placed a new landable surface (same command and function) and landed on it fine every time, weird.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com
