I have been using FS2004 on my computer since it has been out. It was installing fine the first few times, but now, it will not install. It stops at stratus_overcast_above.bmp (32%) and will not move past. I have no choices but to terminate installation or retry. Neither works. The only other time this happened, I just needed to restart, so the "orphaned" files could find their parents... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Try cleaning the FS2004 discs.

No Problem. I am really into the technology of computers, and like to make updates to the harware, and it does't always work...This is the first time this error has occured. I have increased the paging file size to 1024MB, clean-booted, but it still will not work. Plus, I don't have fifty dollars to cough over to MicroShaft for technical support.

Also I have a scrated cd 4 and a little on cd3 so I will call that number for a replacement. I would right after you buy the program or get new replacement cds buy yourself some jewel cases for the cds and DONT use the Microsoft package for the cds because that is just trouble awaiting around the corner. For some reason or another taking them out of the cd package and putting them back in seems to cause scratches in my experience so I wish I had bought jewel cases when I had bought the program. With fs2002 I didn't have to worry so much because I only installed it twice and they were pristine. But when cd 4 is required now you have to take the cd out and put it back in the package and that causes trouble. I hope you get your installation problems resolved.P.s. Microsoft when fs2006 comes out CAN that 4th cd anti-piracy issue. Pirates have been around for years and still will be. They will find a way to pirate with or without your anti-piracy 4th cd issue.
