FS2004 Hangup on installlation

I have a brand new laptop 5 core with Windows 7, right now I'm trying to load disk 4 of FS2004 and get to 77% then it hangs up on the Amster.cab file and never gets any further. This is my third attempt at trying to install the program, anyone have any suggestions? Tom

You could try cleaning the CD. You might be lucky and get it to work but you might have more trouble when you try to run FS with CD4 in.Colin B

Not sure about that ...When FS2004 start .. this is a check just for seen if the disk N°4 is in the drive .. so if sector(s) checked is (are) not bad .. it will be no probs Of course it can be probs if the installation is not a full one ... but who today make a partial install of FS2004 ? :)Regards.bye.gifGus.
