  1. TAF is available, but no Metar at::- https://secure.metoffice.gov.uk/aviation/tandm.do at 081440. Free registration required Colin B
  2. It's good to see that we dinosaurs aren't all extinct yet! How do get on with FS2002 now? Colin B
  3. If the rudder is sticking to the left, you could check your joystick/keyboard assignments for sticking buttons/keys. Colin B
  4. I've found another AF2 file for Imagine Sim KDTW (and KMSY) here at Avsim. File name imaginesim_af2_bgl.zip. I haven't yet tried it but it might be what we're looking for. It is an old file. Colin B
  5. There are no parked_aircraft bgl files in KDTW. That applies to KEWR and KMSY, (see their manuals). There should be a replacement AF2 file for KDTW but it doesn't seem to available now that the scenery is free. If you can't find the replacement AF2 file, you should not just remove the present one, hence your parking problems. Colin B
  6. Look in the manual under FAQ. It tells you how to remove static aircraft and vehicles. It says to download a new Afcad file from its website/airports but I haven't been able to find it. KEWR and KMSY are easier. The manuals say to rename or move bgl files beginning with parked_aircraft. Colin B Edit. KMSY works Ok without the parked_aircraft files, but KEWR crashed with both files disabled. It seems to work Ok if only the parked_aircraft_cargo_01 is disabled.
  7. Jon_aus I installed all 3 manually without any problem. First to a temporary folder to check performance, (all satisfactory with an E8400@3Ghz), then moved them to my normal FS drive, (not C:). If you are having problems, it may be your OS. Only OSes upto and including XP are mentioned in the manual. (Being a dinosaur, I'm still using XP SP3). Also, all checked Ok with Avast A/V, Superantispyware, Malwarebytes, and Spybot S&D. Colin B
  8. The KEWR update appears to be already incorporated. Colin B
  9. As a registered member, you need to conduct an advanced search over all dates. If you can't do this, then ask for help on the registered members forum. I can't give you a link here or by PM as you request! Colin B
  10. This problem has been resolved several times on the official LevelD forum. Colin B
  11. I had a look out of interest. Somewhere I never got to in the States. I thought, being a municipal airport, it would probably be a bit small. Wrong again! it's bigger than most over here. I have informed Robert-Jan Oosterloo so he can update his very useful site Colin B
  12. There is a kbis.zip on Flightsim at 13.3MB by Eric Cagan. That seems to download Ok. Colin B
  13. Have just tried both kbis.zip and kbis_2008.zip and also found them both to be empty. Looks like Avsim problem, not yours. Colin B
  14. Or you could download the zip file at 12.5MB, install and use it to change the ATIS frequency, replace the AF2 file, after backing it up, with the ADE .bgl file, and uninstall or delete ADE v165 but retain the downloaded file for possible future use. My ADE v165 folder is 402MB. Colin B
  15. fs9cddir.zip by Brian Collins lists all the files on the FS9 discs. It's in Excel file format and it's avaliable here in the library. Colin B
  16. Harald There is also a 3.1 service pack for that scenery:- sna2004sp, if you decide to try it. Also an Afcad is available as af2_ksna.zip. Both still available here at Avsim. Colin B
  17. You should find it in :- FS9\Disc2\MSGAME3.cab\SOUND.DLL Colin B

The link which Luis gave you above, pafs.wf, does work and gives you 6 A3xx base packages and several liveries, and they are on Avsim. Colin B Edit: Sorry. The A321 appears to be the only one which is missing. You could change to the djc-a321-CFM or djc-a321-IAE which replace the Evolve-ai if you want it for AI traffic.
  19. There is an Air France A319 for FS9 is you take the time to look. Colin B
  20. fs9cddir.zip by Brian Collins, available here and/or flightsim, give location of all files on FS9 CDs. Colin B
  21. Try using :- fs_affinity_v2_267238.zip It allocates FS9 to one core and other progs/services to the other core(s), up to 4 cores. I found it made a big improvement, especially when using Afcad/ADE9x. I think I got it here at Avsim, but it was a long time ago. Colin B
  22. Scenery.cfg can be found on FS9\Disc 4\Complete or FS9\Disc 4\ Compact. Area 033 is Sydney Aerial Photo and area 038 is Addon Scenery. Area 041 will probably be an area you have added since the original install. You should be able to obtain an Excel file listing everything on the 4 discs. Just search for FS9 CD Directory by Brian Collins. I got it here on Avsim originally. Colin B Edit. File name fs9cddir.zip.
  23. To lower your seat :- SHIFT+Backspace. To raise your seat :- SHIFT+ENTER. Try a search for FS2004 Keyboard Commands by Tony Smith. (fs2004keys.zip) Colin B
  24. On the EADS site, under "My profile/Password"/Application Access, you have choice of "Simple mode- no HTML" or "Advanced mode, requires Java". I've now tried both with the same result It works OK when I log-in but it now requires it every time whereas , before, it always remembered me (with "remember password for sites" checked and I was never required to log-in except every few months when I had to change password or used CCleaner. But at least it works again as does Skyvector. Colin B
  25. Using XP SP3, Simple mode-no HTML, don't think anything is blocked, FF 28.0, and it all worked Ok just now except for log-in required again for EADs. (Have changed password.) Skyvector back to normal with nothing done to affect it since last night. It appears to be just another one of those computer things! You're as bad as me, still using XP. Colin B
