Change location of FSX saved files

Featured Replies

I have FSX in the D: drive. My C: drive is small and I want the default Save and load which by default is C:username\Documents\Fight Simulator X Files to be globally changed to F:username\Documents\Fight Simulator X Files. Is this possible and if it is how do I do it?Thanks,Lynn

If you're using Windows 7, and probably Vista, you Rt-Click on "My Documents -> Properties -> Location, and select "Move".You can put it on whatever drive you wish. The OS will see it as a pointer and will direct all entries to the new location.XP has a similar mechanism, if I remember correctly: doing this is good policy, as you still have your docs in the event you need to reinstall Windows.
