November 28, 201015 yr A couple things I would check are your scenery priority, any back ground progs that might be running, (I have had probs while flying and listening to music files that I have on my computer. I dont know if it would help, but I also checked, and found that my hard drive was quite fragmented, so I did a defrag. You can find a lot of answers if you go to the AVSIM file library and d/l tips n tricks.. TONS of very useful info there! November 28, 201015 yr Hi B737CaptainI'm no expert, but does this happen everywhere? Sometimes a particular scenery has a memory leak of sorts. If the problem doesn't occur when you start your flight from somewhere else, maybe it's a problematic scenery installation.

November 29, 201015 yr Man, I had the exact same problem that you are describing. By any chance, do you have FSUIPC installed, and did you use it to calibrate your hardware (joysticks and the like)? If so, uninstall FSUIPC and reinstall it. In my case, i tracked down the problem to FSUIPC's settings. I'm not sure what was going wrong, but it ahs to do with the calibratyion of my Saitek hardware. FSUIPC being a module, will also be active wherever you fly, so you will see the performance problem everywhere, which fits with the symptoms you describe. November 29, 201015 yr Author I have FSUIPC but haven't used it to configure my saitek yoke or any other fs hardware. So you think i download the latest version of it?
November 29, 201015 yr I have FSUIPC but haven't used it to configure my saitek yoke or any other fs hardware. So you think i download the latest version of it?For what it's worth, try to rename the FSUIPC.ini to FSUIPC.backup, and reinstall FSUIPC. In any case use the latest version (3.98), that's always a good idea. I don't think this course of action will solve your FPS problem, but you can always try, right? It worked for me, but with me it was a very specific thing regarding my hardware (Saitek yoke, throttles and Logitech joystick).
