Sorry about the newbie question. I can run Orbx PNW with decent framerates even in dense urban areas (though I did crash to desktop in Seattle). However when I fly in Anchorage with UTX Alaska it looks like a slideshow and is unflyable. Is there a difference in the programs that explains this or is something corrupt in my UTX installation? Once I get out of Anchorage in the hills the framerates are fine.I have a AMD Phenom II X6 2.6 gig (don't know how to overclock) and 8 gig ram Win 7 64 bit with an ATI Radeon 5400 HD graphics card.

Thanks Fella's I got Alaska running smooth. I just had to load a less demanding preset (lost the realistic roads and buildings but it still looks good).
