November 28, 201015 yr All I usually fly now is the PMDG 747, but I'm having numerous performance anomalys, namely freeze ups. I've installed theUiautomation core and HIGHMEMFIX. The CPU and memory usages look OK while running the task manager and the temperature also looks OK. After reading alot of forum topics, I've noticed that most of you guys have hardware that is whole lot better than mine. I'm now going to upgrade to much better system. My question is, how high can those of you with really powerfulhardware crank up the graphics settings, without degrading the frame rates and overall steady performance. Specifically, I'm talking about screen resolution, global texture resolution, scenery complexity, autogen complexity, level of detail radius, and overall weather settings. I have some FSGenesis, and Ultimate terrain x addons, although I'm not sure if that has bearing on what settings can be used. If you can be as specific as possible with your responses, it will really help me to select the proper hardware. November 29, 201015 yr Head over to here and follow the steps. It will make a CFG for you based on your hardware that should get things going in the right direction.http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html Scott Kalin VATSIM #1125397 - KPSP Palm Springs International AirportSpace Shuttle (SSMS2007) http://www.space-shu....com/index.htmlOrbiter 2010P1 http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/
