MR-1 Ultralight is a great surprise

Featured Replies

I tried the demo version of the afs-design.de MCR 01 ultralight and I was impressed with the dynamics but the demo really hid the cockpit and other necessary features, but I took a chance and purchased it this morning. Wow. I'm very pleasantly surprised at this wonderful little plane. Beautiful design and it is really fast. You have to be careful not to stress it out... so you have to watch your speed. I really enjoy flying her and I think it's going to be a super GA aircraft for some enjoyable VFR flying. If you haven't tried it yet, I think you'll be surprised too. Thanks, afs-design.deStan

Well, normally AFS' aircraft aren't my cup of tea, but for this time, I think I'll give them a shot. Though ultralights aren't usually my GA choices, spinning around my favourite sightseeing spots are finished with better results when using ultralights. Your inspiring words might have changed my thoughts about AFS itself. Its too bad about their demos though, all I see of their VCs are nothing but the traditional "black cloth". Even I can't see anything outside. The windows are black as well. Dave.
