...High-end Sandy Bridge (LGA 1356 and LGA 2011) will be released Q4 2011 or Q1 2012
Just in time for MS Flight! :-)Cheers,- jahman.

Would it be a good idea to install Windows 7 and FSX Acceleration on the 120GB SSD?"So you want windows 7 loaded onto your Samsung F3 1tb hdd, rather than your SSD right? If I were you Id recommend win 7 on the SSD and also FSX onto the ssd, but hey that's up to you really, you've EASILY got enough room for both and will certainly get the best performance with Win 7 running from the SSD in addition to FSX."I've searched the net and have read that FSX is slower with W7 installed on the same SSD.I was planning to install FSXA on the SSD and W7 on the Samsung F3 1TB HDD.I don't want to spend more money on another SSD.

If you plan on a lot of FSX addon's then you will quickly run out of room on the 120GB SSD. My FSX disk has 112GB on it. My addon's on my FSX disk are UTX, GEXn, FS Genesis, Scenery Tech, FEX, a lot of freeware airports, four or five planes I purchased and a few other FSX related programs. The 112GB does not include any of my photo scenery, all of that is on another disk and that adds up to 200GB already. My Win7 SSD has 31GB on it and that is pretty much just Win7 and stuff that has to go on the SSD disk like drivers and programs that will not install anywhere but the OS disk.If you do not plan on any FSX addons then there is no reason why you can not put Win7 and FSX on the SSD. Just make sure that you do not install FSX to the default path. Create a new folder like "C:/FSX Programs/" and install FSX there.

Thanks for that.I do plan to add FSX addons. Orbx, PMDG etc :D

I checked my C Drive the other day and have 162GB but that includes FSX/Acceleration plus a lot of photoscenery and other addons and the Windows 7 OS and all my software programs - well, everything is on it. You might get away with installing everything on the 120GB SSD initially but I read the SSD's should never be filled to capacity so you'll probably have about 90-100 GB's of space to stay safe. Once you attain that you can start moving some of the addons to a mechanical HD or buy another SSD down the road. Best regards,Jim
