I reinstalled Radar Contact and the serial number I have no longer works, is this normal, do i need a new one? I sent an email for a serial number, but it seems odd to have to do so when I already have one.When I paste the serial number I have in the window for the serial number, it just closes and if I fire it up again, it says the same thing 'this is unregistered etc'Al

make sure you are starting rc, by right mouse clicking the .exe or shortcut, and clicking run as administrator (assuming you are running vista or windows 7)if you sent for a new key, and the key doesn't work after you pasted it in, check to make sure if there is a minus sign in the front of the product id. if there is, did you include it in your key request? also make sure when you paste in the key, there are no extra spaces at the end of the key (backspace over any extra spaces in the input box where you pasted in the key)jd

On XP so no admin stuff necessary. I got sent a new key and that worked fine. It just struck me as odd that it would be necessary for a simple reinstall. Anyhow it's all working now and the new key arrived very promptly by the way, which was good service.Al
