December 6, 201015 yr Hello guys,Could you help me how can I check that my FPS_limiter works or not?I made batch file and it seems run correctly and locked it on 30 but in FSX when I check my FPS (via shift_Z) it could reach to 40-41 for a seconds then dropped to 18 again up to 30 and … . By FRAPS it is ~30.My Vsync is ON in fsx.cfg and my refresh rate is 60hz.Is it works? is it OK?My next question is problem on heavy sceneries! For example KJFK(FSDT) or EDDF(Aerosoft) also I have REX and ASE. Expect on PMDG 747X . My FPS suddenly drops from ~18,19 to 8 and 9 for 1 or 2 seconds and again jump to 18. What is the problem?I am on core i7 [email protected] and NVidia 285

I have Windows 7 and my Frame Limiter will not work with Vsync on. I believe as long as you lock your frame rate below 60 fps (the monitor refresh rate) Vsync is not necessary. That is certainly the case on my system. I lock my frame rate at 30 fps and have never had a Vsync issue.Good luck.Danny Danny
