Yes, this drives me nuts! What am I doing wrong???Everytime i engage the autopilot in CS B707 or the B52, the yoke starts rattling and shaking like mad! Why? Best to ask in the CS forums, it happens here too for a few seconds then stops

This could be a null zone problem.Have you adjusted the null zone on your joystick?If it's too small the joystick may not centre and the AP may struggle to override the command.
