Ok soin the MD-11 we have the option to arm the doors via the FMC, but this doesn't really stop the doors being opened with shootsdeploying...In the NGX if a door i opened when armed will the slides deploy or will their not be any effect, because in reality itisn't even up to usto arm the doors, its up to the CC, so the function is practically irrelivant other wise.What are your opinions on this?

I don't think it's so much of a consequence thing as much as a simulation of the alert your get on the SD that a door is potentially open unless it's armed. So, instead of the an emergency simulation, it's a similar check as if you'd get a call from the CC saying it had been taken care of.
